Ideally, if money allows, you will want to change out your studs at the same time you upgrade your springs. The standard AR studs are shorter and won’t allow you to experience the full range of adjustability the  new upgrade springs offer.  One of the best features of the stud kit is the included thrust bearings (not shown in photo).  These thrust bearings eliminate spring “binding.”
