Ideally, if money allows, you will want to change out your studs at the same time you upgrade your springs. The standard AR studs are shorter and won’t allow you to experience the full range of adjustability the  new upgrade springs offer.  One of the best features of the stud kit is the included thrust bearings.  These thrust bearings eliminate spring “binding.” I include two types of wing nuts so owners can decide which they like best.

Please note the increased length of the upgrade studs means you can no longer use the stock bottom panel (which is the first mod I perform to any AR table anyway) and you usually need taller feet.  You can order my specially sized Upgrade Rubber Feet Set or buy some of your own.
